Welcome Spooky Season!
At MoonStone, we love the odd and unusual all year round, which makes it all the more exciting to feature some of our favorites in October, and we have some really exciting things to share with you this month. We have another full events calendar, new stones and jewelry, and some brand new custom merch, as well as a month long contest for you to showcase your creativity!
We are SO PROUD to introduce our first line of MoonStone MPLS custom merch created for us by local artist Lofty Dog Designs. This design features many of the treasures from our store display cases and showcases our philosophy of bringing aspects of nature into daily practice. Wear it, carry it, or stick it to represent your support of local artists and small business, Longfellow Minneapolis pride, or love of the odd and eccentric. Tag us in your selfies @moonstonempls!
T-shirts and tote bags are half off through October 10th, and will be available for in-store pick up starting October 25, during Lofty Dog’s next in store pop up!
Our September gem and jewelry sale was a success, and helped us make room for hundreds of new treasures that will be available by Saturday, October 4. Our jewelry case will be filled once more with gemstone sterling silver rings, and the shelves will be lined with towers, tumbles, and NEW animal carvings. We can’t wait to send these treasures home with you!
October’s calendar is full to overflowing, and includes the return of local favorites such as Vivid Violet Aura photography (October 4) and Shadow Wick Candles (October 11-12), classes on Demystifying Shadow Work (Thursday Oct 2) and Queering the Tarot (Thursday Oct 16), and we’re even taking the show on the road as we sponsor Dragged Out’s Halloween show on 10/17 (9:30pm) at the Black Hart of St. Paul! We’ll be slinging some *special* mystery tarot cards that night, and can’t wait to see what the performers have in store.
Last but not least, we want to engage your creativity with our October coloring contest! Download our seasonal coloring sheet and bring it to the store this month to be entered in the contest! Winners will be chosen for three age brackets (kids under 10, youth 10-17, and the rest of us 18 and up!) by votes cast by in-store customers across 10/31-11/2.
